Aurora Spectral Technologies now offers Photometrics High Performance Cameras

Aurora Spectral Technologies is now an OEM provider of Photometrics high performance cameras and camera systems. Our OptiMiS™ system is optimized for use with the new Photometrics Evolve™ 512 EMCCD cameras. Photometrics’ Evolve “Intelligent” EMCCD camera is a scientific imaging solution that reads out pixel data in electrons, resulting in more accurate and reproducible data. With this advanced feature set, the small, yet powerful Evolve is ideally suited for low-light bioimaging applications.

Aurora Spectral Technologies Introduces an Integration Package for the OptiMiS™ system

As a service to our customers desiring complete systems solutions, we have now introduced an OptiMiS™ Integration Package that includes all of the parts required for installing an OptiMiS system with a high performance Spectra-Physics ultrafast laser, an inverted microscope from various suppliers, and a Photometrics EMCCD camera. This package includes all of the parts required for such an installation including the skilled labor to set up a system, complete precision alignment, and support in the form of a two day hands on training of customers on the use of the system. All the customer needs to provide is the appropriately prepared laboratory with an optical table large enough to hold the complete multiphoton microscope system.
